Today is the anniversary of the terrorist attack on Parliament. On this occasion the country is remembering their brave sacrifices. President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to the sacrifices of the Parliament attack. Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party MP Swati Maliwal has attacked CM Atishi. Swati alleged that Atishi’s parents had tried to save Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru. The AAP MP made this allegation on social media platform X.

There was a terrorist attack on the Indian Parliament on 13 December 2001.
Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists attacked the Parliament complex on this day in 2001, killing nine people. All five terrorists were killed by security forces. The attack was carried out by five armed terrorists, but the Parliament Security Service, CRPF and Delhi Police personnel foiled the attack and no terrorist could enter the building. Six Delhi Police personnel, two Parliament Security Service personnel, a gardener and a TV video journalist were killed in that attack.
